I know many people who would never call there girlfriend or boyfriend by the wrong name. Just try to call your spouse by an old sweetie's name and see what happens. Will the they be happy?
Yet many people have no problem with calling the maker of Heaven and Earth by the pagan name. I know some of you reading this may know where I am going with this line of thought.
In Joel 2:32 states: "And it shall come to pass, that who ever shall calls on the name of YVHV shall be delivered: for in mount Tzion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as YHVH has said, and in the remnant whom YHVH shall call"
So on the day of distress or destruction I will call on the name of YHVH. "For whoever shall call upon the name of YHVH shall be saved." Romans 10:13
Yah's Blessings and Shalom,
more to come...

The Torah and The Testimony
"And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of YHVH, to the house of the Elohim of Yaakov; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Tzion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of YHVH from Jerusalem." Isaiah 2:3
"To the Torah and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20
"Who bares record of the word of Elohim, and of the testimony of Yeshua Messiah, and of all things that he saw." Revelations 1:2
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of Elohim, and for the testimony which they held:" Revelations 6:9; 20:4 also.
The Torah (the law or word of Elohim) and The Testimony (Yeshua Messiah). The two important things that make us Nazarenes hence why Messiah restated the important of them both.
Matthew 5:17-18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Deuteronomy 4:2 and 12:32 make clear refereces to the fact of not changing or adding or subtracting from the Torah.

Genesis 1:2
"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters."
As always there is more in the verse than we will talk about in this post.
But what we see the verse first of all is the state of Planet Earth. As mentioned in the previous post regarding the Book of Enoch; The angels had their day and had destroyed everything with HaSatan's (Satan) fall.
There was no light, which is a whole subject in itself, but to say the least about it. Yahweh had to made darkness by contracting himself, hence pulling his very self back a bit to eliminate his light.
Then Yahweh moved over the waters, above and below.
