Nazarene Goals

As Nazarene we have clear goals and directions we should be working towards.

What we are trying to do is proclaim two things "To the law(Torah) and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variables, neither shadow of turning. " James 1:17

The foundation pillars of Torah "Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHVH, to serve him, and to love the name of YHVH, to be his servants, every one that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant;" Isaiah 56:6
  1. The name of YHVH
  2. The Sabbath
  3. The Covenant
These are key for those of us who are not mire messianic believers. If you really believe all that the Testimony said then you must follow the Torah. He was the goal of the Torah. "For the Messiah is the goal of the Torah, for righteousness to all who believe, " Romans 10:4 (HRV -The Hebrew Roots Version) Many translation into English from Greek Texts use the word end instead of goal. Still even so, the endzone in a football game is not the end of the game once reached unless the time has run out. Hence the time frame regarding the end of the world or the passing of the Torah. Yeshua Messiah's second coming is key before end of the world.

Again as Nazarene we believe nothing is done away with.
More to come.
